Baker Park offers a par 71, 18 hole golf course. The front nine is all flat holes, while the back 9 offers a little more of a challenge with the hills. Need to warm up before your round? Or just need to perfect your swing? Then take some practice balls at our driving range. Tokens can be purchased at the clubhouse. And be sure to try out the small par 3 practice course located at the far end of the driving range. Stop in to the 19th Hole Clubhouse for snacks and refreshments.
Men's, women's, senior's and couples' leagues are available. Playdays/golf outings can be scheduled, typically on Saturdays and Sundays. These are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Contact the Kewanee Park District office for more information.
But, Baker Park is more than just a golf course. The park also consists of Pleasure Drive. This wonderful, scenic drive offers a relaxing tour through the park. You can drive through to simply enjoy the view or walk through to give yourself a nice cardiovascular workout. Gate to gate distance is approximately 2 miles. 1.68 miles is new asphalt.
During the winter, you can cross-country ski through this drive or go sledding down suicide or twin hills. Participate at your own risk.
